PLANETBASECAMP.COM GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OUR AGREEMENT WITH YOU
PLANETBASECAMP.COM sells products and services and acts as an agent or affiliate on behalf of airlines, wholesale companies and other service providers including accommodation and transportation services (Third Party Suppliers). In addition to these general terms and conditions, you should make sure that you understand the terms and conditions which apply to your particular arrangements. We will make available to you the terms and conditions or websites of the Third Party Suppliers.
Unless otherwise stated, PLANETBASECAMP.COM is not a provider of any travel products/services as such and has no responsibility for products or services provided or not provided by any Third Party Suppliers. We give and make no warranty or representation regarding the standard of any services or products supplied by Third Party Suppliers and no person has authority to make any such representation or warranty on behalf of PLANETBASECAMP.COM.
If for any reason, any Third Party Supplier is unable to provide the products/services you purchased through PLANETBASECAMP.COM, your remedy lies against that Third Party Supplier and not PLANETBASECAMP.COM.
PLANETBASECAMP.COM reserves the right to decline to provide services to any individual, legal entity, group or party of travellers.
These general terms and conditions together with the relevant terms and conditions of the Third Party Suppliers apply to any travel products/services you purchase through us.
MAKING A BOOKING
When you make a booking or purchase a product or service, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept for yourself and on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions as well as any terms and conditions imposed by Third Party Suppliers.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and we cannot be held liable for any errors or discrepancies. It is your responsibility to ensure the names in your booking are exactly the same as they appear in the traveller’s passport.
You agree you are entering into a legally binding contract to acquire the relevant travel or travel related products and/or services with the Third Party Suppliers.
In the event that you are making a booking on behalf of someone else, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of that person to be bound by PLANETBASECAMP.COM’s general terms and conditions as well as the relevant Third Party Suppliers’ terms and conditions.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
Deposits are non-refundable. Payment of a deposit enables PLANETBASECAMP.COM to hold a reservation for you but does not guarantee the price, unless otherwise stated. You will be advised of the current price of the adventure or holiday package you wish to book before your contract is confirmed. Additional deposits for certain travel arrangements may also be required by Third Party Suppliers. You will be notified of any such deposits that need to be made when you enquire about the availability of a travel package.
PLANETBASECAMP.COM accept payments in the form of Paypal payments. Crypto currency payments can be arranged.
COMMUNICATION
It is our general practice to communicate to our customers electronically whenever possible.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Your contract with your Third Party Suppliers may allow suppliers to cancel or amend bookings. As far as possible we will ensure that you are promptly notified of any significant changes, but accept no liability for any changes or costs incurred which may result.
FORCE MAJEURE
PLANETBASECAMP.COM is not responsible for any changes to your travel due to factors out of our control. These include (but are not limited to): force majeure, war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, and changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar event.
DISCLAIMER
You acknowledge and agree that PLANETBASECAMP.COM has no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of any Third Party Supplier. You also agree that PLANETBASECAMP.COM and any person or persons associated with PLANETBASECAMP.COM is excluded from any liability towards you or any persons associated with you, whether they are directly or indirectly affected by your dealings with us.
In circumstances where liability of PLANETBASECAMP.COM cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements.
YOUR AGREEMENT WITH US
By finalising your arrangements with us, you are accepting that the terms of this Agreement as well as conditions of any contract made with any Third Party Supplier or Suppliers apply to your booking and your travel arrangements. You also consent to our processing personal information about you and other members of your party in order for us to fulfil a booking made by you.
CHANGING YOUR BOOKING
If you wish to change your booking and such a change is permitted and possible by your Third Party Suppliers, PLANETBASECAMP.COM will charge you a service fee to process the change. You may also be charged a service fee by your Third Party Suppliers.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
If you cancel your booking, the cancellation terms and conditions of your Third Party Suppliers will apply. Deposits cannot be refunded
PASSPORT, VISA AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
It is entirely your responsibility to fulfill the passport, visa and other immigration requirements for your entire itinerary including all transiting and stopover destinations applicable to your trip
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out adequate health and travel insurance for the duration of your trip. You should always confirm with your Credit Card Company or other insurance providers that you are properly and adequately insured for your trip.
TRAVEL ADVICE AND VACCINATIONS
Vaccinations may be required for some or all of the places you intend to visit. Health, vaccination and inoculation compliance is your responsibility. You should also ensure you are physically fit for the intended itinerary and you should consult your physician when in doubt.
